Sleeping habit to help prevent acne
Here's a nice tip if you're having problems with acne, one way to help prevent it is to stop sleeping sideways with your face touching the pillow, I know it's hard to change sleeping positions for some, but if you can't do that then another way to help curb acne is to simply change your pillow sheets. I washed mine a few days ago and it's been 2-3 months since I've cleaned them (yuck I know). It's hard to imagine all the germs, skin, and other material on them and also it's rubbing against your face for hours while you sleep, definitely not good for your skin so it'd probably be best to change sheets every 3-4 days. Thanks for your time, peace.

thanks for the input :) will attempt to sleep on my back tonight!
ReplyDeletewhat i like to do sometimes is use an old, but clean shirt, instead of a pillow sheet. it works just as well and it reminds me to wash my pillow sheets more often!

Another tip for this would be just put a freshly cleaned cloth over your face while you sleep, and that will remove acne too.
ReplyDeleteThis is true...In my teen years I used to sleep on my stomach/face and acne wouldn't ever leave!!!
ReplyDeleteI think i might just have to burn my sheets and start from scratch.
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention it I should probably wash mine soon. I think I see some fungus developing on them :/
ReplyDeleteEww.
ReplyDeletewhoaaa cant believe i never thought of this :O
ReplyDeleteI never actually thought of this before. That's a really good tip. Simple yet effective like all good advice should be =]
ReplyDeleteAlso - drink lots of water.

Good idea but sleeping on your back opens you up to the possibility of sleep paralysis (not as bad as it sounds, no really). I don't know about you but when I wake up I don't want to still be dreaming.
ReplyDeletethe simplest advice is something the best kind
